Details: The United Kingdom’s relationship with Greece goes back nearly two centuries, to the foundation of the modern Greek state – if not longer than that. Our two countries are partners and friends. Like the UK, Greece is a mature member of the European Union and of NATO, and much of our cooperation takes place within that framework.
